Danny is a boy genius and his passion is learning about the Solar System.  He is fascinated with space and dreams of working for NASA one day.  He would love to search for aliens in his rocketship.

Danny’s car is shaped as a rocket in the hopes of riding in a real rocket someday. On July 29, 1958, President Eisenhower signed the National Aeronautics and Space Act of 1958 establishing the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).  Danny named his car “Rocket” and put the #58 in honor of the year NASA was established.

Author’s Insight: “This was one of the first cars I designed and knew we needed to have a rocket-shaped car.  The car was fun to create, with the rocket boosters on the sides and Saturn circling the number 58.”
