Parts is very talented and his creative ideas are what helped shape the Soapbox Kids’ cars.  He loves to come up with new inventions and enjoys creating new projects.  Parts is also responsible for  repairing all the Soapbox cars and can be seen around town with his shopping cart full of car parts, which is where he got his nickname.  Although he doesn’t have his own car, he has the very important job of making sure all of his friends’ cars are ready to race.  Parts teaches us that anything is possible if you try.

Author’s Insight: “Every member of a team always has a role to play.  Parts’ role is to make sure every car is ready to race.  We soon find out that he has much more to share than his ability to repair cars”.
